President Murmu to arrive on three day visit of Jharkhand on Wednesday, elaborate security and administrative arrangements put into place

Ranchi: President Droupadi Murmu is arriving on a three day visit to Jharkhand starting from Wednesday during which she will be attending programs in Deoghar, Ranchi and Khunti district.

In the wake of President Droupadi Murmu’s visit the Jharkhand Police is on a high alert for the next three days. The President will start at 7 am from Rashtrapati Bhawan and reach Deoghar airport at 8.55 am. She will be at Baba Baidyanathdham Mandir from 9.20am to10.10am. From Deoghar airport she will start at 11am to reach Birsa Munda airport in Ranchi at 12pm.

She will garland the statue of Birsa Munda at 12.30pm at Birsa Chowk and then go to the Raj Bhawan. At Raj Bhawan she will have interactions with primitive tribal groups from 4pm to 4.30pm. She will reach the new high court premises at 4.50pm starting from Raj Bhawan at 4.40pm. From 5pm to 6pm she will remain in the new high court building premises inaugurating and addressing the inaugural function. She will reach Raj Bhawan at 6.10pm.

Next morning, she will depart for Khunti and using a chopper and she will land in the district to address a self-help group women’s conference organized by the ministry of tribal affairs. She will return to Raj Bhavan at 12.45pm. From Raj Bhavan she will start for IIIT to address a convocation by road and return after an hour.

On Friday, she will start at 10.45am for Rashtrapati Bhavan. At 11.10am she will take off by an Indian Airforce Flight for New Delhi to reach Rashrapati Bhawan at 1.25pm.

Many other officers, including senior IPS officers, have taken over their responsibilities of President’s security. Senior IPS officer of Jharkhand Police ADG Headquarters ML Meena will be posted at Deoghar on May 24.

Apart from ADG ML Meena, Dhanbad Rural SP Reshma Rameshan in Deoghar, Jamshedpur Rural SP Mukesh Lunayat, Koderma SDPO Praveen Pushkar have also been posted in Deoghar. At Khunti, Ranchi Range IG Pankaj Kamboj will be handling the security arrangements. Apart from Kamboj, IRB commandant Anoop Lal, STF SP Sanjay Kispotta, Seraikela SDPO Harvinder Singh will also be posted there.

In the capital Ranchi, many IPS officers have been given important responsibilities regarding the security of the President. JAP-1 commandant YS Ramesh, CID SP Nidhi Dwivedi, Jamshedpur Rail SP Rishabh Jha, Jamshedpur City SP Vijay Shankar, Hazaribagh ASP Training Kumar Shivdeep, Jamtara ASP Trainee Hrithik Srivastava, Palamu SDPO Rishabh Garg were posted in Ranchi.

At the same time, Ranchi range DIG Anoop Birthare is in the preferred charge of security. Apart from IPS officers, 115 inspectors, 717 sub-inspectors, 2820 lathi force, bomb disposal squad, dog squad along with rap and women battalion have also been deployed in Ranchi.
