Fake army recruitment racket busted, one accused arrested

Ranchi: The racket of making fake medical certificates by collecting money from the candidates joining the army has been busted. Based on the information of Military Intelligence (MI), the police of Namkum police station raided and arrested an agent. 

Police have recovered mark sheets, confidential documents related to medical and other certificates from him. Apart from this, many recordings related to fake recruitment have also been found in the mobile of the suspect.

This racket used to collect 50,000 rupees from each of the candidates in the name of making fake medical certificates. The MI of the Central Command of the Army had received information that medical tests were being passed by giving fake money in the recruitment rallies held at different places of the Army in Ranchi.

MI gave this information to Ranchi police. Taking quick action on the information, the police raided and arrested one of the accused.
