Investigation of 21 major Naxalite cases of Jharkhand handed over to NIA

Ranchi: The investigation of 21 major Naxalite cases of Jharkhand has been handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). According to the report of Jharkhand Police Headquarters, the investigation of 21 major Naxalite cases has been transferred to NIA by Jharkhand Police for investigation. Apart from this, contractors supplying money and logistics to the Maoists are being profiled and monitored.

While investigating the big Naxalite case, NIA has seized the property of six big leaders of CPI Maoist organization, while Jharkhand Police has seized movable and immovable property worth about eight crores of 28 big Naxalites. Investigation into the presence of Maoists in the forest of Roop Panchayat located in Garu police station area of Latehar district. Case of illegal supply of arms and cartridges to Maoists and criminals to security forces.
