Ranchi: A review meeting related to the TB program was organized under the chairmanship of Civil Surgeon Ranchi. In this, the work being done in the Ranchi district under the TB-free India campaign was discussed.
During this, it was said that more and more TB patients should be identified and they should be provided timely treatment. Besides, instructions were also given to pay incentive amounts to TB patients under the Nutrition Diet Scheme.
With the help of Sahiyan, instructions have been given to increase the scope of investigation by doing contact tracing. Regarding this, it has been asked to make as many Nikshay friends as possible. He informed that till now a total of 34358 probable patients have been examined in Ranchi, out of which 3432 TV patients have been found.
