Increasing Corona testing is priority for district administration

Ranchi: The district administration was taking all possible steps to prevent the spread of Coronavirus in the state capital.

To break the chain of Coronavirus on August 18 rapid antigen mass drive was conducted in which more than 10,000 tests were conducted. DC Chhavi Ranjan said that the testing of Coronavirus has to be regularly increased and apart from that there was process was on to send the cured people quickly back to their homes.

The DC has urged such asymptomatic patients who have defeated Coronavirus to come forward for plasma donation. He said that the district administration is working with RIMS for plasma donation. He said that on Friday a plasma donation camp would be held at RIMS in which police jawans who had defeated Coronavirus would be donating plasma.

The DC said that better arrangements are being made to provide healthcare facilities to the people at the Sadar Hospital. He said that work was also to increase oxygen enabled bed at the Sadar Hospital.
