Ranchi: The Police Headquarters has asked the senior police officials of all the districts to maintain extra caution in wake of heavy rainfall happening in the state.
DGP MV Rao has asked all the SSPs, SP and all Commandents to adopt all precautions in wake of high winds and rainfall taking place in the district. The DGP has asked the officials to identify such residential premises and barracks where water is leaking and undertake examination by a structural engineer and if they are not safe than they should be immediately vacated and alternative arrangements should be made.
Further in the case in their area of jurisdiction if water logging takes place and a big population is under danger than immediate contact should be established with the district administration and help should be provided to the needy.
He said that if needed that if some help is needed at the police headquarters than through telephone contact should be established with senior officials.
