Ranchi: According to the data of Ranchi Police, in the year 2023, Ranchi Police arrested 2633 accused. The police have solved 9567 cases in one year. According to the data, a total of 9327 cases were registered in Ranchi in the last one year.
Ranchi Police executed 9160 cases pending for less than five years. At the same time, 331 cases pending for more than five years and 76 cases pending for more than ten years were also executed. Apart from this, 3707 warrants and 277 attachments were executed by Ranchi Police.
In the last one year, 10 criminals associated with organized crime were arrested in the capital. These include Rohan Kumar, Mo Arif, Ankit Kumar Singh, Deepak Kumar, Rohit Munda, Abhishek Mallik, Shubham Vishwakarma, Jangbahadur Singh, Durga Sahu and Rajendra Yadav. Two rifles, three pistols and bullets were also recovered from them.
On the other hand, 221 cases of cybercrime were registered in Ranchi in the year 2023. The police arrested 18 cyber criminals. 15 mobile phones, 16 SIM cards, 21 ATMs and other items were also recovered from them.
Ranchi Police has sent a proposal for CCA against 28 criminals. Of these, a proposal has been sent to transfer 13 criminals to the district. Apart from this, action has been taken against 104 criminals under CCA and police station attendance. During the last one year, Ranchi Police has recovered 94 weapons, 1121 bullets and 124 bullet shells. 16 Naxalites were arrested in the capital during one year. A Naxalite was killed in an encounter.
Apart from this, the police also recovered 910 bullets and six weapons of Naxalites.
