IIMCAA Koo Connection of Jharkhand Chapter held in Ranchi

Ranchi: The annual event of IIMCAA (Indian Institute of Mass Communication Alumni Association) Jharkhand Chapter —  ‘Koo Connections 2022’ , was organized on Saturday evening. On the occasion, IAS officer Sanjeev Besra, president of the new executive committee of Ranchi chapter, congratulated everyone on the formation of the new panel. He said that the alumni should try that every year more and more students of Jharkhand take admission in IIMC.

At the same time, IPS officer Kishore Kaushal said that the students of Jharkhand should also get a chance to study journalism in such institutions, it should be seriously considered. On the occasion, two veterans of sports journalism, Vimal Kumar and Neeraj Jha were honoured for their splendid contribution in sports journalism.

Manisha Singh conducted the programme. Ritesh Verma, Simranjit Kaur, Shirish had reached from IIMCAA Delhi on the occasion. Here the outline of future programmes to be done by IMCAA Jharkhand Chapter has been prepared. Along with this, a health insurance scheme for alumni was also soon announced by ‘IMCAA’. With which help can be provided to the alumni students struggling with health problems in emergency situations.

On the occasion, Jharkhand Chapter Vice President Abhishek Kumar, Organization Secretary Omkar Pandey, Treasurer Santosh Oraon, Pranav Pratyush, Amit Gupta, Pooja Oraon, Vivekanand Singh, Nityanand Rai, Sameer Oraon, Prashant Mahato, Manisha Minj, Varsha Rani Tirkey and many others were present.
