Indigo and Spicejet get nod to operate from Deoghar Airport

Deoghar: The Airports Authority of India and the Ministry of Civil Aviation have given their nod to two Airlines to operate their flights from Deoghar Airport.

After being satisfied with the overall preparations at the Deoghar Airport both the companies had filed their applications to operate from Deoghar Airport. Moreover, the Federal Aviation Administration after completing its study has also finalised the operating slots for these two airline operators.

Both the companies as per their slots will start flight services from Deoghar to Delhi, Kolkata, Ranchi and Bengaluru. The flights will be brought from Kolkata to start their operations. Further the buses for ferrying the passengers by the companies along with car, brand logos are being also sent to Deoghar.

Further both the companies have also submitted a list of employees to the AAI who would be deputed at the airport. Place for office and ticket counter have been allotted for the two companies and it is also likely that Deoghar Airport will receive the licence from DGCA by March 15.
