Ranchi: IAS Nidhi Khare took charge as Secretary, Consumer Affairs on Monday. She was appointed secretary of this department last month. She took charge on Monday after the retirement of Rohit Kumar Singh. She has been Additional Secretary in this department.
Presently she was working as an Officer on Special Duty in the Consumer Affairs Department. Nidhi Khare is an officer of Jharkhand cadre. She has been the Principal Secretary of Personnel, Health, Commercial Tax Department and DC of Jamshedpur, Dumka, Madhubani. She is known as a sharp officer.
She has successfully implemented many policies of the government in the state and centre. As Chief Commissioner of CCPA, Mrs. Khare had taken cognizance of many important matters in the interest of consumers.
