Ranchi: Jharkhand High Court has sought a sealed report regarding the activism of Prem Prakash and Amit Aggarwal, accused in the money laundering case lodged in Birsa Munda Central Jail.
The bench of Chief Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra of Jharkhand High Court has directed ED to submit a sealed report in this case.
In fact, a conspiracy was being hatched to implicate officials of ED, the central agency which is investigating money laundering worth crores of rupees in Jharkhand like land scam, illegal trade of sand, alleged scam in liquor tender and illegal mining, in fake cases.
After this information, ED also raided the jail. After which the agency has issued summons to three jail officials and called them for questioning.
During the raid, information was received that after Dhurva police station had accused an ED officer in ST-SC case, a fresh conspiracy to implicate him in a serious type of charge was hatched from the jail itself.
This time a woman was prepared to file a case against ED officials, but the agency got the information at the right time.
Many important facts and evidence have been collected by ED in this case.
Prem Prakash, Amit Aggarwal and many other prisoners involved in illegal mining and land scam had a role in this conspiracy.
