Ranchi: The High Court has put a stay on the ongoing CBI investigation in the case of illegal mining in Lemon Pahad located in Sahibganj district.
The case of illegal mining in Lemon Pahad was being investigated by the CBI. In this regard, CBI has registered case number 06/23. The state government had approached the High Court against the CBI investigation.
Senior advocate Kapil Sibal, Advocate General Rajeev Ranjan and Piyush Chitresh argued on behalf of the State government. ASGI (Additional Solicitor General) Anil Kumar argued on behalf of CBI.
The hearing of this case took place in the court of High Court judge Justice Rajesh Kumar.
