Ranchi: On Friday, South Chhotanagpur Divisional Commissioner Dashrath Chandra Das held a review meeting regarding the preparations and law and order of the Republic Day celebrations.
Necessary instructions were given regarding cleanliness of Morabadi ground along with drinking water and electricity system.
Instructions were given to ensure arrangements for waterproof pandal, gallery, chair arrangement, ground leveling, barricading, construction of tower for stage and sound box at the venue.
Instructions were given by the Commissioner to ensure preparations related to the decoration of the stage and seating arrangements for VVIPs on the stage, minute-to-minute programs, arrangements for refreshments and floral arrangements for the cadets participating in the parade.
He gave necessary instructions regarding law and order and tableaus during the function.
Deputy Inspector General of Police, Superintendent of Police Rural, Municipal Commissioner, Ranchi Municipal Corporation, Ranchi, Senior Superintendent of Police, Superintendent of Police Traffic, City Superintendent of Police, Additional District Magistrate, Deputy Director, Information and Public Relations Department were present in the meeting held in the conference room of the Divisional Commissioner’s office.
