Hemant said in his petition in the Supreme Court – The arrest was made in view of the Parliamentary elections, the land mentioned has nothing to do with it

Ranchi:  Former Chief Minister Hemant Soren has said in his petition filed in the Supreme Court that politically motivated he has been arrested by making him an accused in the land scam case.

ED has made the basis for the arrest that conversations and documents related to a plot have been recovered from the mobile phone of an employee of Bargain zone, which the agency is linking with me, although I have nothing to do with that plot.

Earlier too, ED had summoned me, but that summons was related to mining scam.

After the summons in that case, I also participated in the ED interrogation.

Along with this, the petition states that by declaring the arrest and consequent detention as unreasonable, arbitrary, and illegal and in violation of the fundamental right of the petitioner guaranteed and protected under Article 21 of the Constitution of India, the court directs the respondent to immediately release the petitioner.

However, now the matter is before the Supreme Court and the matter is to be heard on Friday.

It will be very important to see what happens during the hearing in the court, because whatever order the Supreme Court gives on Friday will have a direct and big impact on the politics of Jharkhand.
