Hemant and Babulal participate in RJD rally, BJP terms them anti-Jharkhand

Ranchi, Aug 27: Two former Chief Ministers of the state participated in the RJD rally organized in Gandhi Maidan of Patna however their participation in the rally drew sharp criticism from the BJP who described them of being anti-Jharkhand.

 

Union Minister Rajeev Pratp Rudy who was in Ranchi to participate in a function said that the rally in Patna was that of the corrupts. He said that Lalu Prasad Yadav has lost power in Bihar due to which he was frustrated. He said that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar needed to be congratulated for the bold decision which he took to leave the RJD and join the BJP. He said that his decision is being appreciated by the people of Bihar. He said that the rally was irrelevant.

 

State BJP vice president Deepak Prakash said the rally in Patna was a flop show and those leaders from Jharkhand who have participated in the rally where against Jharkhand and were anti-Jharkhandi. He said that it is same Lalu Yadav who had opposed creation of separate state of Bihar and had said that Jharkhand would be formed on his dead body but joining hands with such a man these leaders have shown that they area against the welfare of the state.

 

 

In-charge for party affairs in Jharkhand of the JD(U) Ram Sevak Singh said that the world knows Mr Yadav for his scams and said that to hide his scams he was doing such a rally. On the participation of former party president Sharad Yadav in the rally he said that certainly action would be taken against him.

CPM’s Brinda Karant whose party did not participate in the rally in Patna however maintained that Nitish Kumar has betrayed the mandate given to the Mahagathbandan and said that the turnout at the event showcased the anger of the people.
