Ranchi: The weather in Jharkhand is going to change once again. According to the Meteorological Department, there is going to be both heat waves and rain in the state. Heat-like conditions may prevail in some parts of the state from Thursday while in many parts there are chances of both clouds and rain. An alert has also been issued regarding the heat wave.
The Meteorological Department has said that both Kolhan and Santhal divisions will see significant impact from hot winds from April 4 to 6. Heat waves may prevail in the districts of these two divisions. The temperature is expected to increase by three to four degrees Celsius. In such a situation, people have been asked to remain alert.
According to the information given by Meteorological Centre Ranchi, the weather will remain dry till April 5. There may be rain and thunder in some parts of the state on April 6, 7 and 8. On April 6, there may be rain with thunder in the northern part of the state which includes Palamu division. On April 7, there may be thunder and rain at isolated places in northern as well as central Jharkhand. There may be isolated rain in the southern and central parts of the state on April 8.
According to senior meteorologist Abhishek Anand, thunderstorms are the reason for the rain in many parts of the state. In this weather condition, it rains in the places where thunderstorm clouds pass. This is the reason that in the next two to three days, there will be rain in the areas of the state through which it will pass.
The heat has started being felt in the state since April. The temperature in the capital Ranchi was recorded at 35 degrees on Tuesday. Whereas the temperature of Jamshedpur is 40 degrees.
The Meteorological Centre has predicted that the maximum temperature in the capital will reach 38 degrees Celsius on April 6. The minimum temperature can remain up to 24 degrees Celsius.
