Ranchi:  Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has almost finalized the names of candidates for five seats. Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren has sent a message from jail as to what things the party has to keep in mind while distributing tickets. Till now Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has not announced the name of the candidate from any seat.

The formula for seat sharing in the grand alliance is fixed. JMM has got five seats. The seats that have come to JMM include Rajmahal, Dumka, Giridih, Jamshedpur and Singhbhum. The seats on which consensus has almost been reached.

Among them, the names of Vijay Hansda from Rajmhal, Stephen Marandi from Dumka, Mathura Mahato from Giridih, Dashrath Gagrai from Singhbhum, Sneha Mahato, daughter of Sunil Mahato from Jamshedpur are discussed. However, many more names are still being discussed. Speculations will continue until there is an official announcement on these seats.

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has already said that JMM will not announce candidates on its seats until Congress announces candidates on all the seats. Congress is stuck on Chatra and Palamu seats after RJD’s claim. Palamu seat is in Congress’s account, but RJD is claiming it.

Former Chief Minister Hemant Soren is keeping an eye on seat distribution and current politics from jail. He has sent a message from inside the jail. In the message sent to Champai Soren, there is talk of giving tickets to old workers. Many leaders of BJP and Congress have so far announced candidates for two seats.

Congress has given a chance to Sukhdev Bhagat from Lohardaga, on which JMM’s Chamra Linda is also claiming. There is also discussion that Chamra Linda can contest the elections as an independent. JMM is in a wait and watch position.
