HC directs govt to file reply over petition of unaided school association

Ranchi: The Jharkhand High Court on Tuesday asked the state government to file its reply over the petition filed by the unaided school association who have protested against the government order of collecting only tuition fees.

The court of justice Rajesh Shankar fixed December 8 as the next day for hearing after Advocate general Rajeev Ranjan sought time to file a reply over the issue by the side of the government.

In the petition, the unaided school association had said that despite the orders of the state government parents were not paying the fee due to which the condition of the schools had declined and they were also not in a position to pay the salaries to the teachers and other staff members.
