Ranchi: Two hardcore Maoists including one carrying a reward of Rs 10 lakh on his head will surrender before the Jharkhand Police on Monday.
Maoist Suresh Munda who is a key member of the Maoist squad led by Anal Da will surrender before Police and along with him, Lodaro Lohra will also surrender in a function to be held at the office of Ranchi Zonal IG. Suresh Munda hails from Barahatu under the Bundu Police Station area of Ranchi district and there are more than 50 cases registered against him while nearly 20 cases are registered against Lodaro.
Police sources said that currently, Ranchi Police is questioning the duo at a secret location. Sources claimed that after speaking to his daughter Suresh Singh Munda decided to surrender. The girl had met her father in the forest and inspired him to give up violence and join the mainstream of life after which he contacted the officials of Ranchi Police.
