Government working to make Health Corridor in state: CM

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that the state government has started making efforts to develop a health corridor in the state so that people can get better healthcare facilities.

Inaugurating the Vedanta cares field hospital virtually in Bokaro he said that the concept of Health Corridor will not be confined to Coronavirus pandemic but will be helpful in tackling the other diseases also. He said that with the start of the hospital people of Bokaro and other adjoining areas will be benefitted.

The Chief Minister said that the strategy made by the state government to tackle the second wave of Coronavirus is proving to beneficial. He said that the government had managed to control the first wave of Coronavirus and is fighting with full strength to take on the second wave of Coronavirus while steps have been initiated to take on the third wave of Coronavirus.

The Chief Minister said that when the at the peak of the second wave of Coronavirus people were not getting oxygen supported beds, ventilators and ICU beds in their state they were coming to Jharkhand to get themselves treated. He said that in crisis Jharkhand supplied oxygen to the entire country.

Health Minister Banna Gupta and others were present on the occasion.
