Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that the government is making efforts to bring smile on face of every person in the state and is building a new Jharkhand as per the dreams of the martyrs and forefathers. Earlier the Chief Minister along with his father and former Chief Minister and Dishom Guru Shibu Soren reached the Durga Soren Memorial located at Lowadih Chowk and paid their tributes on his Jayanti.
The leaders garlanded the statue of Durga Soren who was a key leader in the separate state movement. Speaking on the occasion the Chief Minister said that thousands of Adivasis and Moolvasis including brave sons Nirmal Mahto, Binod Bihari Mahto, played an important role in the separate Jharkhand state movement.
He said that these great personalities have done the work of fulfilling the dream of a separate Jharkhand state which is a matter of pride for all of us. Adding further he said that in the long struggle for a separate state many brave martyrs leaders, fathers and elders left their homes and dedicated everything for this state.
The Chief Minister said that it seems to him that the number of agitators who have come out from among the people of Jharkhand and the way they have dedicated themselves for this state it is a source of inspiration for everyone. He said that after the long struggle of the brave sons of the state people got a separate Jharkhand state but even after completing 20 years of the formation of the state the dream of development and progress which the ancestors had seen is breaking and disintegrating.
The Chief Minister said that in the year 2019 all the people of Jharkhand have formed their government with full strength and determination. He said that his government is working to bring back smiles on everyone’s faces. Coming out of the Corona period the government has worked to create a positive atmosphere in the state he said adding that the administration is continuously working for fulfilling public aspirations and public interest and will continue to do so.
The Chief Minister said that everyone is remembering late Durga Soren on his birth anniversary. He said that elder brother Durga Soren had dedicated his life to the state and organization and by following the path shown by him all have to strengthen and take forward the state and the organization.
The Chief Minister asked the people that all of them should cooperate with the government in taking the future schemes of the state government to the doorsteps. Former Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Shibu Soren said that people are remembering the brave martyrs as they have done the work of saving the natural wealth and water, forest, land here.
The coming generation should also try to save the water, forest and land of Jharkhand, he added. After garlanding program on the birth anniversary of Late Durga Soren Chief Minister Hemant Soren paid homage to Param Vir Chakra winner Martyr Veer Abdul Hameed by garlanding his statue at Kantatoli Chowk, Ranchi. On this occasion, minister Jaggarnath Mahto, MP Mahua Majhi, MLA Sita Soren and other leaders were present.
