Outgoing Prime Minister is spreading the epidemic of lies: Jairam Ramesh

Ranchi: Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh on Wednesday lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Describing PM Modi as the outgoing Prime Minister, he said that he is spreading an epidemic of lies. Jairam Ramesh claimed that after four phases of elections it has become clear that BJP is not going to come to power.

Addressing a press conference at the state Congress headquarters in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, Jairam Ramesh said that the 4 phases of elections have ended. Elections have been held on 379 seats. After just two phases, the results became clear that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was not going to win in South India and its seats in West and North-East India were going to be halved.

He said that the remaining 3 phases will not make any significant difference in the results. He said that the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the outgoing Prime Minister. Jairam Ramesh also distanced himself from Sam Pitroda’s statement. He said that what Sam Pitroda has said is not the opinion of Congress. That was his personal opinion. Pitroda is not a Congress official, he is not even an advisor.

He is not authorized to say anything on behalf of the Congress Party. Whatever he said was distorted and presented. Inheritance tax was only talked about to divert people’s attention from the main issues.

Jairam Ramesh said in Ranchi that the Prime Minister said on this that Rajiv Gandhi removed the inheritance tax only so that he did not have to pay tax on the property inherited from Indira ji. Jairam Ramesh said that on this Priyanka Gandhi Vadra gave a befitting reply to PM Modi. He said that Rajiv ji inherited only one thing, that is martyrdom. For Congress, crossing 400 means MNREGA wages of Rs 400.

Jairam Ramesh said that when Prime Minister Narendra Modi talks about 400, he is talking about seats. Let’s talk about notes. His crossing of 400 means removing the Constitution of Baba Saheb Bhimram Ambedkar and making a new Constitution. But when our alliance I.N.D.I.A. When he talks about 400, he means that the Constitution of the country has to be saved. The minimum wage has to be increased to Rs 400. At different places, MNREGA wages are Rs 200 to 250, which has to be increased to Rs 400.

Jairam Ramesh said that the Prime Minister is nervous. There is visible difficulty in his language. Already they have spread an epidemic of lies. Every day some new lie is told in front of the public. Today it is published in all the newspapers that I never talked about Hindu-Muslim. Never did politics of polarization. Nothing can be a bigger lie than this.

The Congress leader said that after the 19th, he accused the Congress manifesto of being the manifesto of the Muslim League. Later he talked about Mangalsutra. After this he talked about distribution of money, which is not included in our justice paper.
