Government to conduct Special Rapid Antigen Testing Drive Across Jharkhand

Ranchi: To identify the Coronavirus patients the state government has decided to conduct Special Rapid Antigen Testing Drive (SRATD) across Jharkhand.

The government has issued an appeal to all the people that in case any person has any of the symptoms of Covid-19 or if they have come in contact with any infected person then they should on their own come to the designated centres and get their test done.

In wake of the rising cases of Coronavirus in the state the Jharkhand Rural Health Mission  Committee had conducted SRATD across the districts of Ranchi, East Singhbhum, Palamu and Dhanbad on August 17 and 18.

During these two days across these four districts, a total of 32,090 samples were collected out of which 995 were detected positive and the average positivity rate was 3.1 percent.
