Government is considering creating a separate health service for the police department.: Hemant Soren

Bokaro: Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that the government is thinking in the direction that the police department should have its own health service whose purpose will be to provide better health facilities to the policemen so that they can discharge their duties and responsibilities in a better way.

Addressing the passing out parade ceremony of the JAP-4 jawans he said that 1892 jawans are going to contribute to the service of the state after getting training from various training institutes of Jharkhand Police. A total of 630 women constables are going to contribute shoulder-to-shoulder with their male constables which is a matter of pride for the entire state.

He said that the increasing participation of women in the police department is an example of women empowerment. On this occasion, the Chief Minister planted trees in the JAP-4 campus and also inaugurated the RO plant for the campus.

The Chief Minister said that the training that they have received here is only the beginning. While they are performing their duties and responsibilities they will have to face many new and different challenges. In such a situation their training, intelligence and discretion will come in handy in dealing with these challenges.

He said that training is a continuous process by which jawans make themselves better and more efficient. He said that during various programs one gets an opportunity to visit police training centers and institutions. During this, while taking information about the updated situation there he came to know that many problems are prevalent which has a direct impact on the trainers and the trainees. In such a situation he assured them that within the next two years all the training centers, JAP headquarters and police line centers will be renovated so that the training program can be conducted in a better environment.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister honored Best Cadet (Overall) Archana Kumari, Best Cadet (Indoor) Bhimraj Vishwakarma, Best Cadet (Outdoor) Vikram Kumar Tiwari and Best Cadet (Shooting) Manju Kumari with trophies. Apart from this, Training-in-charge and Deputy Superintendent of Police Vinod Kumar Mahto were honored. 574 jawans of the session 2020-22 have received a total of 215 days of basic training at the training institute of Bokaro JAP-4.

In this SIRB-01 Dumka total, 13 jawans including 4 male and 9 female, SIRB-2 Khunti total 5 male jawans, IRB-8 Godda total 556 jawans including 377 male and 179 female jawans have received various training. Gomia MLA Lambodar Mahato Bermo MLA Kumar Jaymangal DGP Neeraj Sinha Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey, ADGP Prashant Singh DGP Training Anurag Gupta, IG Training Priya Dubey Deputy Commissioner Bokaro Kuldeep Chowdhary Superintendent of Police Bokaro Chandan Kumar Jha, Commander JAP-4 Ashwani Kumar, Officers of JAP-4, Trainee jawans and their families were present.
