Ranchi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in the Jharkhand capital on Friday evening as he is scheduled to address a public meeting on Saturday in Chaibasa at the Tata College Grounds.
In wake of the arrival of the Union Home Minister, elaborate security arrangements were made in the state capital and have also been made in Chaibasa. In Chaibasa alone 4500 police jawans have been deployed in the security while 250 police officers have been added. The NSG will look after the security of the NSG.
As part of the security arrangements, snipers have been deployed on the high-rise building while traffic has been diverted in Chaibasa. Through the rally, the BJP will officially kick off its preparations for the polls of 2024.
Apart from addressing the meeting the Union Home Minister will also hold separate meetings with the senior leaders of the party for about 45 minutes. It is expected that nearly one lakh people will turn out for the event.
