Fodder Scam: CBI court rejects Lalu Yadav’s petition

Ranchi, Jun 15: A special CBI court has rejected the prior permission
petition of former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD Supremo Lalu Prasad
Yadav in the multi-crore fodder scam case.
The court of special CBI judge Shivpal Singh rejected the petition of
Mr Yadav alongwith those of former MP R K Rana and Vidysagar Nishad.
Now Mr Yadav and the others would have to appear in the court
physically. On the other hand the court has accepted the petition of
Jaggannath Mishra in the case.
The case is related to fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 89.24 lakh from
Deoghar treasury. Mr Yadav and the other accused had been already
asked by the court to appear in the court physically on June 16.
Meanwhile counsel of Mr Yadav Prabhat Kumar said that Mr Yadav has
already reached Ranchi to appear in the case.
