Ranchi: A fire broke out at Dhurwa police station in Ranchi on Wednesday. This incident of fire took place in the barrack built behind the police station premises. Due to the fire, the barrack and the goods kept in it were burnt to ashes.
According to Sources, “There is a possibility of a short circuit in the electrical connection at the front door of the barrack.” The fire brigade team reached the place of the incident. The fire has been brought under control after about half an hour. Police personnel used to live in barracks.
Due to the fire, the belongings of the jawans, beds etc. kept in the barracks have been burnt. There is no casualty in this incident. The fire brigade vehicle reached the spot and now the fire has been brought under control. How the fire started, how much damage was done, all these are being investigated.
