Fire broke out in NTPC power plant of Chatra

Chatra: A massive fire broke out in the NTPC power plant project complex at Tandwa in Chatra district. There was chaos on the spot due to the fire. It is being said that rubber and other equipment kept in the stock yard of BHL Company caught fire.

After receiving information about the incident, NTPC officials reached the spot and informed the fire brigade about the incident. After this, fire brigade vehicles arrived from Chatra and Hazaribagh, which are busy extinguishing the fire. However, the fire has not been controlled yet.

According to the information, 8 fire tenders from Hazaribagh besides Chatra have reached the power plant, which are engaged in extinguishing the fire for the last three hours. People are not being allowed near the plant. It is being said that the fire broke out due to a short circuit.

There is an atmosphere of panic in the area due to the smoke coming out due to the fire. However, every effort is being made to control the fire.
