Fake army uniforms seized in Ranchi during joint raid

Ranchi: In a joint operation, Military Intelligence and the Jharkhand Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) carried out a raid in Ranchi, uncovering fake army uniforms and unauthorized combat gear. The action was based on specific intelligence received from the Lucknow unit of Military Intelligence.

The raid took place at the Shri Ganesh Army Store, located in the Booty More area of the city. During the operation, officials seized counterfeit Indian Army uniforms and combat clothing that were allegedly being sold to civilians without proper authorization.

Sources suggest that these fake uniforms could pose a significant threat to national security, especially amid heightened tensions between India and Pakistan. There are concerns that anti-national elements could exploit such materials for subversive activities.

Authorities are now conducting a detailed investigation to determine the full extent of the network behind the operation and to uncover the motives and individuals involved.
