Ranchi: DC Ranchi DC Rahul Kumar Sinha held a meeting on Saturday in the Collectorate Auditorium regarding the preparation for the exposure and capacity building camp-cum-conference of women of self-help groups organized by JSLPS in Morabadi on 12th February.
DC gave many guidelines to the concerned officials regarding this state level conference. DC discussed with the officials about the successful organization of the Maha Sammelan. DC said that arrangements should be made for safe travel, food, water for the women of self-help groups attending this conference. Take special care that they do not face any kind of problem. He asked the concerned officials to make such preparations that the program becomes an example.
While giving instructions to all concerned officials, DC said that Didis of women groups from all 24 districts of the state will participate in the state level program, in which the probable number of participants will be 30 thousand to 35 thousand. There will be a live telecast of the state level program organized in Ranchi district, which will be shown at the same time. Regarding this, Ranchi DC asked the concerned officer to ensure live telecast.
The objective of this program is to motivate the women members of Sakhi Mandal for social and economic self-reliance, to give exposure to various livelihood mediums, to enhance the capacity of women and to bring positive changes in their lives.
This program will provide a platform to these women to share their success stories, challenges and innovative solutions. It will also provide you an opportunity to learn something new from your colleagues and co-workers. In this program, the amount of revolving fund, community investment fund, bank linkage will be distributed to the eligible groups under NRLM. In this program, stalls will also be set up at the conference venue for exhibition and sale of products manufactured by the sisters of self-help groups. In the program, assets will also be distributed among the women group members as beneficiaries of the schemes of various government departments.
In the meeting, DC told all the concerned officials that this program is very important for all of us. It is the responsibility of all of us to organize it successfully. It is a matter of pride that such programs are being organized in Ranchi.
DC said that everyone should contribute honestly in making the program successful. The concerned officers should rehearse the program minute by minute. Make arrangements for seating arrangement, food arrangement, drinking water, electricity, toilet, parking, welcome of honourees, traffic, fire safety, backdrop, stage decoration in a better manner, so that no mistake can be made.
DC should depute magistrates for media stage, security arrangements, internet arrangements, printer arrangements, photo copy machines, crowd control, so that the program can be conducted successfully, so that this program can become an example.
