CM Champai said, Children to get quality education in their Panchayat schools on the lines of private schools

Garhwa:  Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren said, everyone will get respect in this state. There will be no discrimination against anyone. There will be justice for everyone. We will give rights to the people of the state with full respect. This is the resolution of our government and we are continuously moving forward in this direction with full commitment.

Chief Minister Champai Soren was addressing the Palamu division level Abua Housing Scheme program organized in Garhwa. On this occasion, he symbolically transferred the housing approval letter and the first installment amount through DBT to their bank account to some beneficiaries selected under this scheme.

He said that no poor or needy person in the state will remain without a house. No person will have a raw and dilapidated house. Everyone will have their own home. The state government will provide three-room permanent houses to 20 lakh people on its own and this has already started.

The Chief Minister said that the way former Chief Minister Hemant Soren has done development work during his tenure in the last 4 years. The work done to empower every class and section of the society through various schemes will not stop now.

Our government will further extend the line of development drawn by Hemant Soren. We will change the picture and destiny of this state. No person will be deprived of food, clothing and shelter in this state. The hopes and aspirations with which the people here have formed our government will be fulfilled at any cost.

Our government is giving free grains to about 20 lakh people by issuing green ration cards. At the same time, dhoti, saree and lungi are being provided to the poor twice a year. Now, through Abua Housing Scheme, he is also working to provide houses to 20 lakh houseless poor and needy.

The Chief Minister said that our government is running from the villages. Our effort is to reduce the gap between village and city in terms of facilities. In this direction, plans have been made keeping the villages and villagers in mind.

To ensure that these schemes are not just on paper, they are visible on the ground, teams of officers are reaching people’s homes to solve their problems and connect them with welfare schemes. The Chief Minister said that now the children of the village will get quality education in their Panchayat. For this, schools located in Panchayats are being upgraded. Along with strengthening the infrastructure, all necessary resources related to education are being made available. Now village children will be no less than the students of private schools in terms of education.

The Chief Minister said that currently about 21 lakh electricity consumers in the state are availing the benefit of 100 units of free electricity every month. Now our government has decided to increase the electricity subsidy from 100 units to 125 units, which will directly benefit 31 lakh electricity consumers. With this, electricity will soon be provided to all the deprived villages.

The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand is a rural dominated state. Most of the people here depend on agriculture. In such a situation, the government is running many schemes to empower the farmers. In this connection, the work of irrigation projects is going on at a fast pace to ensure that there is water in the fields throughout the year. If farmers do agricultural work in their fields throughout the year, their income will definitely increase and their entire family will be able to live a happy life.

The Chief Minister said that the government is continuously working towards strengthening the tribals and indigenous people along with Dalits and backward classes economically, socially and educationally. Our government has made a law to give 75 percent jobs to local youth in the companies and institutions here.

To ensure that the education of the students here is not interrupted due to lack of money, many schemes like Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana and Guru Ji Credit Card are running. The children here are now getting higher education abroad and the government is bearing all its expenses.
