Ranchi: Voting is taking place in Dumka, Rajmahal and Godda parliamentary constituencies on Saturday.
There are 14 candidates in Rajmahal and 19 each in Godda and Dumka.
Chief Electoral Officer K. Ravi Kumar said that every booth of Dumka, Rajmahal and Godda will be monitored through web casting from the control room.
One camera each has been installed inside and outside each booth.
Observers are also keeping an eye on the entire situation.
He informed that polling personnel have reached the polling stations.
All polling personnel will return on the same day after voting.
Every possible arrangement has been made to increase the voting percentage amidst the fear of rain.
On the day of polling, arrangements have been made to transport voters from remote areas to the polling station by vehicle.
Arrangements have also been made to bring senior and disabled voters to the polling booth.
He appealed and said that this time there is voting throughout the day, take out time and vote with your family and neighbours.
He was holding a press conference at Nirvachan Sadan, Dhurva on Friday.
He said that in view of fair and fear-free voting, security forces have been deployed at every booth.
The borders of Bihar and West Bengal adjoining the election areas have been sealed. Bike riding quick response team has also been deployed.
He said that the driver of a private bus associated with election work in Deoghar has died.
Ex-gratia grant will be provided to his family as per rules.
He said that since the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct, illegal materials and cash worth Rs 134 crore and 75 lakh have been seized in Jharkhand.
