Ranchi: Jharkhand governor C.P. Radhakrishnan on Sunday said that education is a lifelong journey. “As Albert Einstein said- “Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school.” So, continue to learn, and explore. Stay curious and hungry for knowledge. The world is changing faster than ever before. Be open to new ideas, technologies, and perspectives.
Embrace change as an opportunity for growth and innovation. You may also have to face setbacks and challenges along the way. Remember that failure is a stepping stone to success. Also, learn from your experiences and keep moving forward. You have immense potential to become a job creator. So, you need to become job generators from job seekers through your talent” said the governor in BIT convocation on Sunday.
He said “ At the outset, let me, congratulate all the degree recipients today. Oprah Winfrey says “Education is the key to unlocking the world. It is the passport to freedom.” You have displayed dedication, perseverance, and hard work throughout your academic journey. Now time to fly and give back to the family, society and country. You would agree that your success has not been possible without the support and contribution of your family, teachers, and mentors. I congratulate the faculty and staff who have played a vital role in your success:
“Dear students, in a world driven by technology, always remember the importance of ethics and values. Use your knowledge and skills to improve society and uphold the highest ethical standards. Work with others, share your knowledge, and contribute to collective progress. Don’t wait for change to happen; be the change you want to see in the world. Use your education to make a positive impact on your community and beyond”.
I feel immensely proud to say that recently, our scientists have made the nation proud by successfully landing Chandrayaan-3 on the moon’s south pole and launching the solar mission Aditya L-1. India’s journey in space exploration is indeed a matter of national pride.
Such endeavours have also showcased our technological prowess and exemplified our unwavering commitment to exploration and discovery. Our most respected Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, always motivated our scientists and technocrats. We all are proud of great scientists and their achievements.
The new education policy N.E.P. 2020 has paved the way for many new ventures and emphasis has been given to the introduction of courses related to Skill Enhancement, ability enhancement and value-added courses. I am very happy that B.I.T. Mesra has quickly adopted N.E.P. 2020.
