Ranchi: ED will interrogate Bhanu Pratap, the then sub-inspector of Badgai zone, for four more days.
Sub-Inspector Bhanu Pratap Prasad was presented in the ED court on Tuesday after eight days of remand in the case of encroachment of 8.5 acres of land of Badgai area belonging to former CM Hemant Soren.
ED court allowed four more days to interrogate Bhanu Pratap Prasad.
ED had sought five days’ remand from the court stating the need for further interrogation of Bhanu. Bhanu had admitted before the ED team that he had got the measurement of this land done through Amin Shashinder Mahato.
Bhanu told that she was told that the measurement of the land of ‘Boss’ had to be done.
The said land is divided into a total of 12 plots.
He had also given information to ED about which plot is in whose name.
After this, the ED team along with Bhanu reached the office in Badgai area and examined many documents related to the said land.
ED also interrogated the caretaker living on the said land, he was also asked whose land it was and who the people who visit the land were.
