Rahul Gandhi’s Garhwa road show cancelled, to join the Farmers Protest rally on Feb 16

Ranchi:  Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Palamu and Garhwa has been cancelled. Rahul Gandhi has left to attend the farmers rally. Due to which the road show has been cancelled. Actually, Rahul Gandhi was doing Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh. After that they were going to do a road show in Garhwa. But seeing the farmers’ movement, they have left for Delhi in support of them.

Rahul Gandhi was going to visit Palamu on 14 and 15 February. Keeping security in mind, about five thousand soldiers were deployed. Many top leaders including Jharkhand in-charge Ghulam Mohammad Mir, state president Rajesh Thakur were camping regarding Rahul Gandhi’s program.

Rahul Gandhi’s roadshow was to be held in Garhwa. He was going to address a public meeting in Bishrampur, Palamu. Rahul was about to reach Nawabazar block of Palamu on Wednesday night and was to stay there for the night. But due to involvement in farmer’s movement the road show was cancelled.
