ED to interrogate Hemant Soren for three more days

Ranchi:  The ED team will interrogate former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren for the next three days. The special ED court gave its permission on Monday. It is worth noting that earlier the ED had presented Hemant Soren in the special ED court and sought remand for four days. After which the court allowed ED to interrogate for three days.

In the hearing, ED had presented hundreds of pages of WhatsApp chats and other evidence, which has further strengthened the ED’s allegations. Last time ED had told in the court that Hemant Soren was not cooperating in the investigation. In such a situation, for the second time also Hemant Soren did not answer or avoided ED’s questions.

Apart from Hemant Soren, ED has been interrogating many people for the last few days. Among these, Vinod Singh, close to Hemant Soren, and Bhanu Pratap, the then land revenue inspector of Badgai area, were interrogated. During this period, ED has received much information.
