ECG & Echo performed on Lalu Yadav in RIMS

Ranchi: Jailed former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav on Tuesday stepped out of his paying ward and underwent some necessary tests including ECG and Echo.

After a special court of the CBI sentenced him to five years of rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 60 lakh in connection with Doranda Treasury Case of the Fodder Scam on Monday Lalu Yadav had been unwell.

Apart from ECG and Echo since Lalu Yadav complained of tooth ache therefore the doctors had a look at his teeth too.

Amidst elaborate security arrangements Lalu Yadav stepped out of his ward late in the afternoon and was taken to the Cardiology wing for ECG and Echo. He later went to the Dental Hospital to get his tooth examined.

Dr DK Jha and Dr Vidyapati told the media that the test was scheduled to be held on Monday itself but due to court hearing it was deferred by one day. They said that ECG and Echo reports of Lalu Yadav are alright however the x-ray report of the tooth in awaited. After completing the other necessary tests he was sent back to his ward.
