Dumka, Sep 2 (IANS) – Sundaraplan village in Jharkhand’s Dumka district was rocked by a gruesome crime on Monday night, when Saheb Hembram (63) and his wife Mangali Kisku (60) were murdered in their home by unidentified assailants.
Their daughters, Hiramuni (25) and Beni (17), suffered serious injuries but managed to alert police. Both are in critical condition at Phool-Jhano Medical College Hospital.
Police suspect the involvement of Hiramuni’s lover from Pakur, though they are probing all angles. Heavy security has been deployed in the area, and a special team is pursuing the attackers.
Authorities assured villagers that the culprits will be caught swiftly and justice delivered.
