Drunken youth opened fire in the train

Dhanbad: Suddenly a bullet was fired in B-8 bogie of Rajdhani train on Thursday night.

The accused who opened fire is said to be a retired army soldier.

Koderma GRP arrested him after this firing.

He has been taken to Sadar Hospital for medical examination.

After the dispute over the ticket, the accused opened fire on the TTE itself.

No one was shot during the entire incident.

The accused has been identified as a retired soldier from Gurdaspur, Punjab.

Actually the accused Harpinder Singh is a retired soldier of the Sikh Regiment, who was under the influence of alcohol.

The retired soldier had boarded Sealdah Rajdhani instead of Howrah Rajdhani.

There was a dispute over showing the ticket to the TTE, after which the accused soldier fired one round from his licensed revolver.

This case pertains to 12313 Sealdah-New Delhi Rajdhani Express train which is included in VVIP trains.

After senior officials of Dhanbad Railway Division received information about the incident that took place in B-8 coach of the train, the accused soldier was arrested with the help of Railway Police at Koderma Railway Station.

The retired soldier has been sent to Dhanbad court after medical examination.

At present he was working as a security guard in a colliery of Dhanbad.

Referring to the incident that happened in the train, he also expressed regret for his mistake.
