Ranchi: DC Chhavi Ranjan on Wednesday chaired a review meeting with the engineers of the various departments over the execution of developmental schemes in the district.
The DC interacted with the executive engineers of road construction, building construction, PHED, REO, special division and have the necessary instructions. He asked them to make sure that the schemes are completed on time within the deadline.
The DC said that schemes for which funds have been received they should be completed without any delay and if a delay happens than action would be taken against the contractor and also the necessary officials.
During the meeting, the issue of availability of land and law and order situation was also taken up. He asked the officials to bring matters under his notice where projects were being delayed due to the need of the land. He also asked the officials to immediately report issues related to law and order.
DC also expressed his anger as engineers of some of the departments failed to turn up. DDC and Director DRDA were among those who also attended the meeting.
