CS and DGP visit Dumka, review preparations for Rajnath Singh’s visit

Dumka, Sep 14: Jharkhand’s Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma and DGP D K Pandey visited here during which they reviewed the preparations for the visit of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh scheduled on September 22 as part of 1000 days in office celebration programme of Chief Minister Raghubar Das.

The official reached Dumka in a special helicopter of the airforce. On September 22 the Union Home Minister is scheduled to inaugurate scheme and lay foundation schemes for projects worth Rs 2500 crore. Assets and deeds would also be distributed among the beneficiaries of various central and state government sponsored schemes including Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana, Mudra Yojana, Stand Up Yojana and Ujjwala Yojana.

The officials who inspected the venue later said that the district administration has made elaborate arrangements for the programme. Ms Verma said that the Union Minister would eb inaugurating various schemes and laying foundations for various projects here.

DGP D K Pandey said that elaborate security arrangements would be made for the programme and also urged the people of the Santhal Pargana region to attend the programme in large numbers.

Those who were also present on the occasion included Principal Secretary Home S K Rahate, Santhal Pargana Commissioner Pradeep Kumar, ADG R K Mallik, Anurag Gupta and officials of Dumka district administration including DC and SP.
