Coal workers Salary increased with Minimum 43,677.45 and maximum Rs 71,030.56 – Ministry of Coal

Ranchi: The National Coal Wage Settlement-11 of coal workers has been implemented. The notification was issued by the Ministry of Coal. The salary received by Coal India and SCCL employees for the month of June will be paid in the form of increased salary under NCW-11 in July.

After getting approval from the Ministry of Coal, Coal India’s DP (P&IR) Vinay Ranjan issued a notification on Friday and issued implementation instructions (Implementation Instructions) related to salary payment to the CMDs of all subsidiary companies including BCCL, and CCL. He has asked all the CMDs to initiate the necessary process so that the salary for June can be given in July under the new pay scale. 

The order of CIL DP reached all the subsidiaries of Coal India including BCCL. A minimum of 43,677.45 and a maximum Rs 71,030.56 for coal workers will get a salary. Under the new pay scale, the coal workers will get a minimum salary of Rs 43677.45 and a maximum of Rs 71030.56. Category-1 workers will get Rs 43677.45. 71030.56 For the supervisory grade personnel. There has been an increase of Rs 23,228.04 in the salary of supervisory grade personnel. 

Under the 10th wage settlement, the supervisory grade worker used to get a salary of Rs 47802.52, which has increased to Rs 71030.56. Apart from Coal India and its subsidiary company, 2.81 lakh workers working in SCCL will get the benefit of the new pay scale. Coal India Management has made a provision of Rs 9252.24 crore for this. The new pay scale will be considered effective from July 1, 2021.

Coal workers will get a 2.3 percent house rent allowance of basic pay on July 1, 2021. Electricity bills will be deducted at 1 percent of basic pay. The attendance Bonus will be 10 percent of Basic Pay every three months.
