Ranchi: The BJP leaders unveiled the statue of party veteran leader Shayma Prasad Mukherjee on his 70th death anniversary on Friday. The statue has been constructed by Ranchi BJP MP, Sanjay Seth’s local area development fund. Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and National Vice President of BJP Raghubar Das said Dr. Mukherjee’s Statue will inspire us.
He said that Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was against the division of the country into two parts on the basis of religion or giving priority to any state separately. He had organized a movement against Article 370 and 35A in Kashmir, which was abolished by the central government under the leadership of PM Modi and fulfilled his dreams.
BJP State President Deepak Prakash said that when Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was the Industry Minister at the Center, he had given the Sindri factory in United Bihar to this state.
Today’s Jharkhand and Bihar of that time, Mukherjee had great affection for the soil of our state. He is also associated because he has family relations.
State in-charge Laxmi Kant Vajpayee said that we should take inspiration daily from the biography of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, who sacrificed his life for the country.
Due to ideological differences with Congress, he resigned from the post of Union Cabinet and chose the movement to protect the unity and integrity of the nation.
This sacrifice teaches us many inspirations. Raghubar Das, Deepak Prakash, Laxmikant Vajpayee, Nagendra Nath Tripathi, Karmaveer Singh, Asha Lakra, Sameer Oraon, Aditya Prasad Sahu, Sanjay Seth, C.P.Singh, Naveen Jaiswal, K.K. Gupta, Samri Lal were present. The program was presided over by Ranchi Mahanagar President KK Gupta, and Operations General Secretary Varun Sahu, and the vote of thanks was done by Balram Singh.
After this, Raghubar Das offered tribute to the sacrifice of Dr. Mukherjee by garlanding a picture of him. After this, a water tank with a capacity of 3,000 metric tonnes of water, constructed by L&T Company near Cipet, Itki Road bus stand, under the Vikas Teerth program was ready, but he complained to the concerned authority that there was no water in it.
After this, the residence built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana at Banhora was visited, then the elevated flyover bridge being constructed at Ratu Road was visited and inspected.
