CM to give appointment letters to three thousand high school teachers on Friday

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren will give appointment letters to three thousand high school teachers on Friday. The High school teachers are being appointed in nonscheduled districts of the state following the order of the Supreme Court.

According to the order, the process of document verification of the candidates is going on for the appointment of teachers of various subjects. Hemant Soren will hand over appointment letters to about three thousand teachers who have completed the process of document verification. 

The date of May 19 has been fixed for this. Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has recommended these appointments. These teachers will be appointed at the district level. 

The Department of School Education and Literacy has also made arrangements for the training of these newly appointed teachers. This will be the first time that newly appointed teachers will be given training along with the appointment letter.

This training will be done at the district level. In this, teachers will be given information about the functions and hierarchy of the School Education and Literacy Department, Directorate of Secondary Education, Directorate of Primary Education, Regional Joint Deputy Director of Education Office, District Education Officer Office, District Education Superintendent Office etc at the divisional level.

According to the program fixed by the Department of School Education and Literacy, the newly appointed teachers will be given training from May 23 to June 3. In which teachers will be given information about their terms and conditions of service, various schemes run by the Department of School Education and Literacy, programs of the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, mid-day meals, e-Vidya Vahini, Nipun Bharat etc.

At the same time, information will also be given about the works of JCERT, the syllabus prepared for the schools, the curriculum, the calendar. The department has issued detailed guidelines regarding this. 

School Education Secretary K Ravi Kumar has written a letter to all district education officers regarding this programme. In which it has been asked to ensure the organization of this program. He has also mentioned in his letter that the offices of high schools should be opened till May 25 during the summer vacation regarding the appointment of teachers.

The teachers whose appointment letters will be given have been appointed through the Graduate Trained Teacher Recruitment Examination-2016 organized by the Commission.
