CM directs to present report on role of officials & advisors involved in construction of Jharkhand Bhawan in 15 days

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren inspected all seven floors of the under-construction Jharkhand Bhawan during his stay in New Delhi. In this sequence, the Chief Minister inspected the Conference Hall, Dining Hall, Chief Minister’s Room, Guest Room, Governor’s Suite, and other places.

A review meeting was also held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister with officials of the Building Construction Department, consultants, and implementing agencies.

In the meeting, the Chief Minister also got apprised of the budget to be spent on the construction of Jharkhand Bhavan being constructed in New Delhi. The Chief Minister was not satisfied with this and asked to present the investigation report regarding the role of responsible officers and consultants in the construction of the Jharkhand building within 15 days. He directed the officers to make necessary changes for the quality, safety, and convenience of the guests in the building.

The Jharkhand Bhawan construction work got delayed due to stoppage of work due to Covid infection and technical challenges. The Chief Minister said that the quality of the construction work of Jharkhand Bhawan should establish its identity, such an effort should be made.

If any kind of irregularity comes to the fore in the Jharkhand building construction work, then the responsible persons will not be spared. Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Principal Local Commissioner Mast Ram Meena, Building Construction Secretary Sunil Kumar and others were present at the meeting.
