He wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that numerous brave individuals from Jharkhand sacrificed their lives in the struggle for India’s freedom and for securing rights and entitlements. However, these sacrifices have been forgotten in the pages of history. He emphasized that it is essential to come together to ensure these sacrifices are given their rightful place.
In his post, Hemant Soren described the Dombari Burhu firing incident as one of the most tragic events, where countless brave men from Jharkhand laid down their lives while fighting for identity, rights, and the protection of water, forest, and land against the British. He assured that the sacrifices of these brave men will never be forgotten. The Chief Minister paid tribute to the immortal martyrs of the Dombari Burhu firing incident, stating, “May the brave martyrs of Jharkhand remain immortal. Jai Jharkhand.”
