CM Hemant will inaugurate Chief Minister Sarathi Yojana on Saturday

Ranchi: On the occasion of World Youth Skill Day, Chief Minister Hemant Soren will inaugurate the Mukhyamantri Sarathi Yojana to provide free skill training to the talented youth of the state and connect them with employment and self-employment at Aryabhatta Auditorium in Ranchi on Saturday.

Youth of the state can become self-reliant through Birsa Kendra by enhancing their hidden talent. In the first phase (2023-24), the scheme will be launched in 80 blocks of the state. In the coming days, the scheme will be implemented in all the blocks of the state.

Youth of all categories will be able to take advantage of the Mukhyamantri Sarathi Yojana, which is being started for the youth, free of cost. For this the eligibility has been fixed by the government. Skill training will be provided at block level for 18-35-year-old men/women of general category and up to 50 years of reserved category (ST/SC/OBC) men/women. 

After training, in case successful youths/women are not employed within three months, Rs.1000 will be given as an employment incentive allowance to youths and Rs.1500 per month to girls/disabled/transgender through DBT for a maximum of one year. Along with this, there is a provision to send 1000 rupees per month through DBT to the trainees of non-residential training from their home to the training center.
