Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren held a review meeting through video conferencing with all the Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners of all the districts regarding the successful implementation of the second phase of ‘Aapki Yojna-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar’ campaign and gave necessary guidelines to them.
The Chief Minister said that whenever the officials go to the camp they should use the word ‘Johar’ with the general public. When meeting with the general public in different villages and panchayats connect with them keeping their own language and culture in a priority by understanding the sentiments of the general public the officials should work to connect them with the scheme he said adding that with the support and cooperation of the public, 100 percent successful operation of the schemes run by the state government can be done. The first phase of ‘Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar’ campaign has been very positive and successful.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence in the officials that the performance of the second phase of ‘Aapki Yojana- Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar’ campaign would be better than the first phase. The Chief Minister said that the benefit of Savitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana would start for the girls studying in class VIII. By the time these girls are 18 to 19, they will get a total financial assistance of 40 thousand rupees for health and education. This amount will be given to them in addition to the scholarship they get he said adding that nine lakh adolescent girls of the state will get the benefit of this scheme.
Efforts should be made to compulsorily connect the eligible beneficiaries in the camps so that the target can be achieved the Chief Minister said adding that the scholarship given to the children under the scholarship scheme has been increased up to 3 times. 35 lakh poor children studying in state schools have been set aside to benefit them by connecting them with the scholarship scheme he added.
The Chief Minister said that Sarvajan Pension Yojana is an important scheme for the state and about 10 lakh new people have been added to this scheme in the last one year however there are still many people left to join during this one month campaign. He asked the officials to set a target that at least five lakh new eligible people can be added in this one month campaign. He said that all the applications received under the Sarvajan Pension Yojana should be disposed of at a fast pace and fulfill the target.
The Chief Minister said that 14 lakh new farmers have been added under Kisan Credit Card (KCC) but there are still around eight lakh applications pending in banks which are to be executed during this drive. He said that in view of the drought situation in the state, five five schemes should be approved in each village without delay.
The Chief Minister said that the payment of wages under Mnrega should be ensured on time. Keep in mind that the working class should not be late in the wages, otherwise people’s inclination towards Mnrega will decrease as the worker class has to earn and eat every day.
The Chief Minister said that on the day the officials organize camps in the village or panchayat, they must lay the foundation stone of five schemes in the village so that employment generation can start soon and also asked them to make sure to work on the major component of Mnrega.
Excavation work of 1 lakh wells, 50 thousand animal sheds and ponds is to be done in the state and these plans should be made into a reality the Chief Minister adding that in the second phase of ‘Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar’ campaign, a target has been set to connect 7-8 lakh beneficiaries with green ration cards. Speedy disposal of applications related to ration cards should be done he said adding that the Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme has been started in the state.
He said the scheme was started with a simple process and whenever the officials go for field tour they should suggest as to what can be improved in the process regarding employment generation as maximum employment generation is the priority of the government.
The Chief Minister said that the women who are involved in the business of selling liquor should be made self-supporting by connecting them with the Phulo-Jhano Aashirwad Yojana. He asked the officials to encourage joining in women’s self-help groups in rural areas, identify such women and work to connect them with the scheme.
The Chief Minister said that Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Yojana is an effective scheme for rural areas so they should make the beneficiaries aware about the livestock scheme as animal husbandry has been a traditional occupation of Jharkhand and this work can be done with ease. The Chief Minister said that the officials should work to convert the trust of the villagers into reality and take advantage of the experience of the first phase of the Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar campaign.
Hemant Soren said that the senior officers who are nominated for intensive supervision of the programs being organized under the Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar- Aapke Dwar Abhiyaan to provide continuous guidance to the Deputy Commissioners and they should visit the area and monitor the schemes continuously. The Chief Minister said that this campaign will continue not only for one month but will continue even further.
