CM Champai Soren prayed for the happiness, prosperity, progress and welfare of the people during Sarna Festival ‘Baha Parv’

Ranchi:  Chief Minister Champai Soren reached his native village Jilingagoda located in Gamharia block of Seraikela-Kharsawan district.

On the occasion of ‘Baha Parv’, the great festival of nature worship, the Chief Minister prayed for the happiness, prosperity, progress and welfare of the people of the state by offering prayers according to traditional rituals at Sarna Puja place Jaherthan in Jillingoda in Seraikela-Kharsawan district.

The Chief Minister also formally inaugurated Kulludih Jaherathan under Seraikela-Kharsawan district.

The Chief Minister said that his government is doing the work of conservation, renovation and development of all the places of worship in the state.

The Chief Minister said that the work of beautification of many Sarna sites and Jaherthan present in this area is in progress.

His government is continuously working to ensure that the customs and traditions related to tribal culture are kept intact and these places can be developed as tribal culture.
