CM asks officials to solve problems of people with dedication & sensitivity

Daltonganj: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has asked the officials of the state to solve the problems of the common people with dedication and sensitivity. Chairing a review meeting at the police line stadium here over the execution of development schemes and projects in Garhwa and Palamu districts he said that the government is working with dedication to realise the schemes on the ground for the benefit of the villagers. However for the schemes to be realised on ground the officials should work with responsibility and fulfill the aspirations of the people so that the rural economy can be strengthened.

He said that this was just the beginning and in another two weeks’ time he will review the progress of works in the Palamu and Garhwa districts. The Chief Minister said that the government is trying its best to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach every last person, keeping this in mind, the second phase of Aapki Yojana Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar program was also launched in the entire state. He said that the officials are expected to live up to the expectations of the people of remote rural areas. 

In such a situation not only the government but also the officials will get applause if the people get the benefit of the development schemes. He said that in some blocks expected development has not taken place under various schemes of the government as the schemes have not reached the people either that they are not aware or due to some other reason therefore the officials should work to remove all those errors and by December 31, 2022 and work to cover everyone with the schemes by setting up camps or running special drives.

He said that under the Chief Minister’s Drought Relief Scheme the officials should also make arrangements for online registration in block offices for the registration of farmers so that more and more farmers can get its benefit. He directed to seek clarification from block development officers of blocks with low progress of Chief Minister Drought Relief Scheme, Mnrega and other schemes.

Adding further he said that livestock is the biggest link in the rural system and this system has to be re-established so that the problems of anemia in women malnutrition in children etc can be diagnosed and they can get nutritious food at home. 

The Chief Minister said that people in rural areas should be given the benefit of the livestock scheme. He said that under the Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Yojana, apart from giving animals on subsidy to the beneficiaries, funds are also being given for the construction of sheds.

The Chief Minister said that the volunteers working on contract, Jal Sahiya should be linked with the Chief Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme so that they too can be developed. It should not happen that they continue to work only on the minimum wage. He appreciated the better performance of both districts in the field of universal pension and also said that work should be done to cover single women and disabled people also. 

He said that tagging single women and orphan children together by running a drive should be done so that the child can get a homelike environment and only that single woman should be given the help amount and single women pension given to the orphan child so that their development continues.

Hemant Soren said that under other schemes including Mnrega, at least five labour-based schemes should be run in every village so that maximum man-days can be created. Due to this, the people of the village will get work near them and there will be no migration of people for employment.
